Don't need to fill up those gas tanks to get to the fish!

You hear a lot of anglers out there complaining about the poor fishing conditions this time of year but for me, it's my favorite time. Using less than 2 gallons of gas, you can putz down to the springs and catch more Snook, Redfish, Sheepshead, mangrove snapper and Jack than you'll know what to do with. You may even hook up with a gator trout just outside of the springs on the river. Baits are simple, jigs and Mirrodines is all you need. I prefer to use 4in lil john twitch bait with a 1/32oz green jig head and my trusty Bayou Green Mirrodine. Fish the banks, docks and canal entrances for snook & redfish throwing the bait of your choice with a smooth twitch return. Fish the open areas with rock structures for the sheepshead and snapper bouncing a jig off the bottom slowly. Fish the bays with a topwater for some serious big Jack action. While doing all of this, please be mindful of the Manatee and swimmers in the springs!

Fish on everybody and feel free to call us with any questions! 1-833-GOT-TOUR
