A teen girl from Massachusetts caught a 700-pound Bluefin tuna that took her and her dad a total of ten hours to reel in! The teen and her father (who was a captain himself) would switch off reeling in the fish every 45 minutes. Bluefin tunas usually take two to three hours to reel in, but that was not the case here! The teen said she planned to save the money she got from her catch for her college education.
While there may not be any Bluefin tuna for us to catch in Homosassa or the Gulf, our captains will try their best to put you on some big ones! Kudos to this family for their determination and awesome catch!
